Conference to Address North State Writers

As writers, we write. But we must also think creatively about how to get what we write read. Fortunately, technological advances have made it easier for writers of all genres to reach a larger audience. If you’ve contemplated but haven’t yet created a Facebook page, blog site, or Twitter account, then the Step Up with Social Media Conference at Shasta College on April 24 may offer the inspiration to begin. 2010 Writers Forum Future Author Scholarship

The Writers Forum announces a Future Author Scholarship competition open to high school seniors in Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity Counties. In order to recognize and encourage writing talent, the Writers Forum is offering a single scholarship award of $500.00 to the applicant with the best published writing samples.
